As college students go, time is of the essense. Work, studying and especially school take up a lot of their time. For those students and other members of the Lubbock community that find that sitting on their couch has become mundane, volunteering might be the answer. According to www.volunteerlubbock.org the good people of the Hub city have a chance to not only help those in need, but also to better themselves.
From youth training programs to supporting non-profit organizations, Lubbock residents can contribute their time and effort to help those in poverty or desperate situations.
